Macedonian Community Council of Victoria elects Kiril Donevski as President

It is with great pleasure to announce that the Macedonian Community Council
of Victoria on its meeting held on the 20th September 2011 has elected Kiril
Donevski as President.

Following Goran Torbakov’s resignation due to his relocation back to
Macedonia, a new President was elected by the Executive Members of the
Macedonian Community Council of Victoria (MCCVic). Mr Donevski expressed his
appreciation to the Committee Members for having confidence in his
abilitities by voting him as the new President of the Council. On the
appointment Mr Donevski also stated his gratitude to Goran Torbakov for the
years he has devoted to working with and assisting the Macedonian community
of Australia. He has provided the community with a great deal of support and
has worked tirelessly to achieve a greater spirit within the community.

Mr Donevski is looking forward to the future by working with a team of
committed like minded individuals who are a keen to promote a unified
Macedonian community. He acknowledges there will be challenges along the way
but is determined to bring greater success to the Macedonian community.
